«Ziemeļu dimensijas» partnerības HIV/AIDS ekspertu grupa veselības aizsardzības un sociālās labklājības jomā paziņojusi par gaidāmo V Starptautisko konferenci, kas veltīta vīrusa hepatītu B, C un HIV infekcijas problēmām Centrālajā un Austrumu Eiropā. Tā notiks Viļņā (Lietuva) šā gada 19. un 20. septembrī.
Konferenci sagatavo Austrumu un Centrālās Eiropas valstu reģionālie un starptautiskie eksperti no medicīniskām un zinātniskām kopienām un šīs konferences notiek ik gadu kopš 2014. gada. Vīrusu hepatītu un HIV ārstēšanā novērojams straujš progress, un tas tiek apspriests daudzās starptautiskās konferencēs. Pamatproblēmām, kas rodas, ārstējot B un C hepatītu, kā arī HIV, ir savas īpatnības katrā Austrumu un Centrālās Eiropas valstī, tāpēc šī reģiona valstu ārstiem un zinātniekiem ir jāapspriežas, kā rīkoties.
Konference ir nospraudusi mērķi radīt apmācību un pieredzes apmaiņas platformu, kā ārstēt B, C hepatītu un HIV. Konferences mērķauditorija ir vīrusu slimību jomā praktizējoši ārsti, kā arī ārsti infekcionisti, gastroenterologi, hepatologi un citi.

The 5th edition of the Central and Eastern European Meeting on Viral Hepatitis and HIV will take place on 19 - 20 September 2019 in Vilnius, Lithuania.
The Central and Eastern European Meeting on Viral Hepatitis and HIV is an independent program, initiated in 2014 and developed by regional and international Key Opinion Leaders for the medical and scientific community in Eastern and Central European countries.  Advances in the treatment of viral hepatitis and HIV are continuing at a rapid and exciting pace, presented and discussed at many large international conferences.  Key challenges in the treatment of hepatitis B and C as well as HIV are specific for this region and need to be discussed among clinicians and scientists from these countries.  This meeting aims to provide a unique and much needed platform for scientific and medical interchange and education on treatment of Viral Hepatitis and HIV.
The target audience of this meeting consists of healthcare professionals involved in daily care for HCV patients such as infectious disease doctors, gastro-enterologists, hepatologists and others.
